Emmit is a people person dog because he just loves everyone and cannot wait to go for a walk and maybe roll in the grass. He loves attention and is great with the other dogs. He especially loves his "sister," Eclipse, whom he lived with. He is a Chihuahua who is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccination, and on heartworm preventative. |

Poor Daisy cannot figure out where her people went! She wants to be held all the time and obviously had a good home before she ended up in the shelter. She has a strangely developed ribcage but no known health problems. She does not seem to mind it at all, and she just wants to be held and walked. She is an adult Chihuahua who is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and on heartworm preventative. |

We don't know what happened to Rusty before he got to the shelter, but we don't think it was too nice. He has a large burn mark on his back and a broken canine tooth. He will need sunscreen or a t-shirt on sunny days, and his fur may never grow back. He loved the car ride from the shelter and just wanted to cuddle the whole way. He loves to be held and gets along great with the other dogs. He is a great walker and can walk farther than some of the big dogs. We hope he can find a special person that can see past his scar and give him the kind of life that has eluded him so far - a secure home with someone that will love him and take care of him. He is a young Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix who is neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and on heartworm preventative. |

Chico's owner died and he ended up at the shelter. Poor guy was scared out of his wits. We rescued him and he is starting to warm up to us. He is a sweet little guy who loves walks and loves being held. He is a young adult who is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and on heartworm preventative. |

Crash is a young Wirehaired Terrier mix of some kind who is adorable. He loves playing with the other dogs and is great on a leash despite never being on one before we rescued him. He is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. |

Carbo came into animal control with some other dogs and someone took a bite out of him. He was also covered in ticks. Who knows what happened to him? We just got him and we are trying to clean him up. He loves to be near people and would probably follow you around all day if you let him. He is good on a leash and loves to be held. He is a 2-year-old Dachshund and Chihuahua mix who is neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and on heartworm preventative. |
